The Walther PDP SF (Steel Frame) is a full size striker fired semi automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, built on a stainless steel frame that represents a significant departure from the polymer framed PDP line. The steel frame adds substantial weight to the platform, reducing felt recoil and improving balance for both competition and range use. The PDP SF operates on Walther's Dynamic Performance Trigger system, a flat face trigger designed for a short, crisp break and fast reset. The slide is 1machined from stainless steel and is cut to accept a variety of red dot footprints with the use of adapter plates. The PDP SF features a full length Picatinny accessory rail and front and rear slide serrations.

This example is the Black Tie edition from Walther's Meister Manufaktur premium line. The Black Tie is distinguished by its Stinox finish, a satin stainless treatment applied to both the stainless steel frame and slide, paired with black controls including the trigger, slide stop, and magazine release that contrast against the bright stainless surfaces. The pistol is fitted with a black aluminum one piece wrap around grip, a 5 inch barrel, and an adjustable match rear sight. Accompanied by three 20-round magazines with aluminum basepads and a locking leather briefcase.
