The Winchester Model 94 Angle Eject (AE) is the revised configuration of the classic Model 94 lever action rifle, introduced in 1984 to address the top ejection pattern of earlier Model 94 rifles that interfered with scope mounting. The Angle Eject design redirects spent cases at an angle away from the top of the receiver, allowing conventional scope mounting on the solid top receiver without interference from ejecting brass. The .307 Winchester cartridge was developed specifically for the Model 94 platform, introduced in 1983 as a rimmed cartridge designed to deliver .308 Winchester class ballistics from a lever action rifle while remaining safe for use with tubular magazine fed firearms through the use of a flat nose bullet profile. The .307 Winchester drives a 150 grain flat nose bullet at approximately 2,760 feet per second, providing a meaningful increase in downrange energy over the .30-30 Winchester. The XTR designation indicates an upgraded finish level with higher quality wood and checkering.

This example is chambered in .307 Winchester with a 20 inch barrel and is fitted with a checkered walnut stock with raised comb and checkered walnut forend. Sights consist of a front blade and a Williams adjustable peep sight mounted to the receiver. No original box or accessories included.
