Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless .375 H&H Magnum, 24 Inch Barrel, Stainless Scope Rings
The Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless is a bolt action rifle built on the post 1992 Classic action, which reintroduced the pre 1964 controlled round feed design with a full length Mauser type claw extractor and fixed blade ejector. The Classic series was Winchester's return to the original Model 70 extraction system after decades of producing the push feed variant introduced in 1964. The receiver is machined from stainless steel and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The three position safety is located on the bolt shroud, with the fully rearward position locking both the bolt and trigger and the middle position locking only the trigger. The rifle feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate released by a catch inside the trigger guard.
This example is chambered in .375 H&H Magnum with a 24 inch stainless steel barrel and black synthetic composite stock, designed for durability in adverse weather and field conditions. The .375 H&H Magnum is a belted magnum cartridge introduced by Holland & Holland in 1912 and remains one of the most widely used and versatile dangerous game cartridges worldwide, offering a balance of manageable recoil with sufficient energy for heavy and thick skinned game. Accompanied by stainless scope rings, no original box or accessories included.
