The Defender XL is a large-window red dot sight engineered for fast target acquisition on pistols and carbines. The optic pairs a 5 MOA illuminated dot with an expansive viewing area and a sealed 7075-aluminum chassis that incorporates a ShockShield polymer insert for impact absorption.

Power and user controls include 10 brightness settings (8 daylight, 2 night-vision), motion-activated wake with a 10-minute auto shutoff, and a top-mounted battery tray that accepts a CR2032 for tool-free replacement. The unit is finished in matte black, is waterproof and fogproof, and accepts DeltaPoint Pro–pattern optics via included plates or mounts for direct installation to compatible slides and rails.
