The TommyBuilt Tactical TG36 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, based on the Heckler & Koch G36 platform. TommyBuilt Tactical manufactured the TG36 receiver in the United States, building rifles that replicated the configuration and ergonomics of the German G36 series as closely as possible. The TG36 uses a short stroke gas piston operating system with a rotating bolt. The receiver and stock assemblies are constructed of polymer, following the original G36 design. The rifle accepts standard G36 pattern magazines and is compatible with G36 furniture, optic rails, and accessories.

This example is configured as a G36K, the compact carbine variant, with a side folding polymer stock and a top optic rail incorporating integrated iron sights. The trigger pack is marked with Safe, Semi, 2-Round Burst, and Full Auto selector positions, though only capable of semi-automatic. The barrel is fitted with a pinned and welded flash hider, bringing the overall barrel length to 16 inches. Accompanied by one Magpul G36 PMAG, ten HKParts translucent 30-round magazines, and an HK branded zip bag.
