The Steyr Mannlicher Luxus is a premium bolt action rifle manufactured by Steyr Mannlicher in Austria. The Luxus designation represents the top tier of the Mannlicher sporting rifle line, distinguished by its European craftsmanship and refined features. The action uses a smooth turning bolt with rear locking lugs and a low bolt lift, characteristic of the Mannlicher action family. The Luxus is equipped with a single set trigger, which functions as a standard trigger under normal use but can be set by pushing the trigger forward, reducing the trigger pull to a light, crisp release for precise shots. The rifle feeds from a detachable rotary magazine that sits flush with the bottom of the stock. Luxus models are stocked in select European walnut with fine line checkering defined by a carved border, and were produced in both half stock (sporter) and full stock (Mannlicher) configurations.
