The Steyr GB is a double action/single action semi automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Parabellum, manufactured by Steyr Daimler Puch AG in Austria. Introduced commercially in 1982, the GB (Gas Bremse, or gas brake) uses a gas delayed blowback operating system rather than a conventional locked breech design. The GB features a double column magazine with an 18 round capacity, a decocking lever located on the left side of the frame, and an automatic firing pin safety. The pistol was entered in the Austrian and United States military pistol trials of the early 1980s but was not adopted by either service.

This example was imported by Gun South Inc. of Trussville, Alabama. The slide is constructed from carbon steel with polished sides and a matte finished top surface. The frame is constructed from aluminum alloy with a textured dark polymer coating applied over the surface and diamond shaped checkering at the front of the trigger guard. The barrel hood also displays the same polymer coating. The pistol is fitted with a fixed blade front sight, fixed rear sight, and black checkered polymer grips. Accompanied by two 18-round magazines, no original box or accessories included.
