Smith & Wesson Model 645 .45 ACP
The Smith & Wesson Model 645 is a full size double action/single action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, produced as part of Smith & Wesson's second generation semi-automatic pistol line introduced in the mid 1980s. The 645 succeeded the Model 45 and represented a significant refinement of S&W's large frame .45 ACP platform. The pistol features a slide mounted safety/decocker that allows the hammer to be safely lowered from a cocked position and functions as a manual safety in the down position, blocking the firing pin and disconnecting the trigger. The 645 was built exclusively in stainless steel construction with a 5 inch barrel and fixed sights. It was manufactured from 1985 to 1988, when it was replaced by the third generation Model 4506.
This example features a stainless steel frame and slide with a brushed stainless finish, fitted with wood grips and fixed front and rear sights. Accompanied by two 8-round magazines. No original box or accessories included.
