The Smith & Wesson Model 60 is a double action/single action revolver chambered in .38 Special, built on the small J frame. Introduced in 1965, the Model 60 was the first stainless steel revolver produced by Smith & Wesson. The revolver features a 5 round cylinder and stainless steel construction throughout. The Model 60 shares its basic platform with the Model 36 Chief's Special, differing primarily in its use of stainless steel rather than carbon steel.

This example features a stainless steel finish and is fitted with checkered wood grips with S&W medallion inlays. Sights consist of a serrated ramp front and a fixed rear sight integral to the top of the frame. Accompanied by original box and cleaning rod.
