Smith & Wesson 36-2 .38 Special, 2" Barrel, Blued
The Smith & Wesson Model 36 is a J-frame revolver chambered in .38 S&W Special and one of the most recognized compact revolvers in production history. Originally introduced in 1950 as the Chiefs Special, the Model 36 established the J-frame platform as the foundation for small frame concealment revolvers. The five shot, steel framed design offered a compact and reliable package suited for plainclothes law enforcement and civilian concealed carry. The dash 2 engineering change, introduced in 1994, incorporated a serrated ramp front sight in place of the earlier rounded blade configuration.
This example features a 2 inch barrel with a blued finish and is fitted with checkered walnut service grips with S&W medallions. No original box or accessories included.
