The Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 is a full size striker fired semi automatic pistol operating on a short recoil, locked breech system. The M2.0 generation introduced several refinements over the original M&P platform, including an improved flat face trigger with an integrated blade safety, aggressive grip texturing, interchangeable palmswell inserts for grip customization, and an optics ready slide milled to accept miniature red dot sights with use of adapter plates. The Performance Center Metal Carry Comp variant builds on the M2.0 platform by replacing the standard polymer frame with a machined aluminum frame. The added mass of the aluminum construction reduces felt recoil and contributes to a lower bore axis feel during firing. 

This example features a 4 inch barrel with ports machined into the barrel and corresponding slide cuts that vent propellant gases upward to reduce muzzle rise. The slide incorporates additional lightening cuts and enhanced forward and rear serrations. The pistol is fitted with Night Fision H3 tritium front sight paired with a U notch rear sight. Accompanied by two 17-round magazines, no original box or accessories included.
