Smith & Wesson Model 15-4 .38 Special, 2" Barrel, Nickel
The Smith & Wesson Model 15 is a double action/single action revolver chambered in .38 Special, built on the medium K frame. Introduced in 1949 as the K-38 Combat Masterpiece, the Model 15 received its numerical designation in 1957 when Smith & Wesson transitioned to a numbered model system. Designed as a shorter barreled companion to the K-38 Target Masterpiece (Model 14), the Model 15 features a 6 round cylinder and adjustable sights.
This example features a 2 inch barrel with an overall nickel finish. The top strap of the frame and the top of the barrel have a matted nickel finish. The revolver is fitted with checkered magna grips with S&W medallion inlays, along with a color case hardened hammer and serrated trigger. Sights consist of a fixed ramp front and a micrometer click adjustable rear. No original box or accessories included.
