Smith & Wesson Model 15-3 .38 Special, 4" Barrel, Nickel

The Smith & Wesson Model 15 is a double action/single action revolver chambered in .38 Special, built on the medium K frame. Introduced in 1949 as the K-38 Combat Masterpiece, the Model 15 received its numerical designation in 1957 when Smith & Wesson transitioned to a numbered model system. The revolver features a 6-round cylinder, adjustable sights, and was designed as a shorter barreled companion to the K-38 Target Masterpiece (Model 14).

This example features a 4 inch barrel with a nickel finish throughout. The revolver is fitted with wood finger groove grips, as well as a color case hardened serrated trigger and checkered hammer. Sights consist of a serrated ramp front and a micrometer click adjustable rear. No original box or accessories included.
