The ROMEO-X Compact is a pistol red dot developed around a low-profile architecture to support co-witnessing with standard-height iron sights. The housing is CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum and sized to minimize overhang on compact slides while maintaining structural rigidity under recoil.

The optic uses a selectable 2 MOA dot, 32 MOA circle, or combined reticle configuration to support both rapid presentation and precise aiming. Power is supplied by a side-loading CR1632 battery, allowing replacement without removing the optic from the slide. Brightness is adjustable across multiple daylight and night-vision compatible settings, and motion-activated illumination conserves battery life during inactivity. An aspherical lens provides a flat, distortion-controlled sight picture across the viewing window. No original box or accessories included.
