Sig Sauer P229 SAS Custom Shop .40 S&W, Two Tone, Hogue Rubber Grips

The SIG Sauer P229 is a compact DA/SA semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W, operating on a short recoil, locked breech system with a modified Browning cam locking mechanism. The P229 was the first SIG pistol to feature a one piece machined stainless steel slide, developed specifically to handle the higher pressures of the .40 S&W cartridge. The SAS (SIG Anti-Snag) variant is a Custom Shop production featuring a comprehensive dehorning treatment in which all sharp edges on the frame and slide are rounded and blended to eliminate snag points during draw from concealment. The SAS treatment includes a flush mounted decocking lever, bobbed hammer, and night sights. SAS Custom Shop pistols also feature a custom shop grade action with an enhanced DA/SA trigger pull. The P229's compact footprint paired with the SAS treatment makes the pistol well suited for concealed carry applications.

This example features a German made aluminum alloy frame with black anodized finish and a natural stainless steel slide in the two tone configuration. The pistol is fitted with Hogue rubber grips and SIGLITE night sights. Accompanied by one 15-round magazine and non-original box.
