The SIG Sauer P226 X-Five Short and Smart is a single action only semi automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, built by the SIG Sauer Mastershop at the Eckernfoerde facility in Germany. The Mastershop is SIG Sauer's dedicated custom and competition shop, responsible for producing the company's highest grade pistols with hand fitted components and refined tolerances. The Short and Smart is a distinct variant within the X-Five competition line, pairing the heavy X-Five frame with the standard P226 slide and barrel length rather than the extended 5 inch slide and barrel used on the full size X-Five. The X-Five frame features a checkered front strap for positive grip purchase, an extended beavertail, and an ambidextrous thumb safety. As a dedicated single action only design, the Short and Smart uses an adjustable target trigger with overtravel and pull weight adjustment, providing a clean and consistent break for precision shooting.

This example is finished in stainless throughout and is fitted with laminate green beechwood grips and fixed sights. Accompanied by two 19-round magazines with base pads and original case.
