The P220 was SIG Sauer’s first major double action service pistol and established the design architecture later used across the P22x series. Chambered in .45 ACP, it uses a short recoil, locked breech system with a tilting barrel, alloy frame, and frame mounted decocking lever. The single stack magazine geometry keeps grip circumference relatively narrow for the cartridge while maintaining consistent feeding and extraction characteristics.

This example is a "carry" variation, which uses a shorter slide and 3.9 inch barrel compared to the standard 4.4 inch P220. The operating system, control layout, and overall construction remain consistent with the P220 platform. Original box and three magazines included.
