The Sig Sauer P211 GTO RX is a modern iteration of the double-stack 1911 concept, combining traditional single action operation with contemporary features and ergonomics. Designed around a steel frame and alloy grip modules, the pistol uses a straight pull single-action trigger and includes a grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safeties, and a firing pin safety for controlled operation. Feed reliability is provided by standard P320 magazines, allowing the use of widely available magazines.

This RX variant comes from the factory with a Sig Sauer Rome-X Pro enclosed red dot sight mounted in the optimized Sig LOC PRO footprint, allowing a low and repeatable optic interface without separate plates. A compensator is fitted to the muzzle to reduce muzzle climb and aid follow up control. Standard iron sights remain for backup viewing.
