The Sig Sauer P229 Legion SAO is a compact, single action only semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm. Built on the P229 platform, the pistol uses a short recoil, modified Browning cam lock operating system with a one piece alloy frame and a stainless steel slide. The Legion series represents Sig Sauer's premium production tier, distinguished by its Cerakote Legion Gray finish applied to both the frame and slide, enhanced controls, and refined ergonomics. The SAO designation indicates a single action only fire control group with a frame mounted manual thumb safety. The trigger is a flat design engineered for a short, consistent pull with a crisp break. The frame features Legion series ergonomic enhancements including an undercut trigger guard for a higher grip, an extended beavertail frame contour, custom G10 grips with the Legion medallion, and front strap checkering. The slide is machined with front and rear cocking serrations and is factory milled for direct optic mounting using a DeltaPoint Pro compatible footprint. The pistol is fitted with XRAY3 day/night suppressor height iron sights for co witness capability through a mounted optic. 

This example is the RXP variant, configured with a factory mounted Romeo1 Pro red dot optic on the optic ready slide. The Romeo1 Pro features a 6 MOA red dot, MOTAC motion activated illumination system, and a molded glass aspheric lens with a wide field of view. Accompanied by two 10-round magazines. No original box or accessories included.
