The Streamlight TLR-6 is a compact weapon mounted light designed for subcompact handguns that lack accessory rails. Rather than attaching to a rail, the TLR-6 uses a trigger guard clamp mount that wraps around the trigger guard and secures to the dust cover, providing a stable platform on small frame pistols. The unit produces 100 lumens of white light from a single LED with a shaped reflector, providing usable illumination for close range target identification. Controls consist of buttons on either side of the housing. The body is constructed from impact resistant engineered polymer with a black finish. Power is supplied by two CR1/3N lithium batteries.
