Emilio Rizzini is an Italian shotgun manufacturer based in the Brescia province of northern Italy, a region with a centuries long tradition of gunmaking. Emilio Rizzini produces a range of over/under shotguns for field and sporting use. The sideplate models feature a boxlock action fitted with sideplates, providing additional surface area for decorative engraving while allowing access to the action's internal components. This configuration gives the shotgun the aesthetic character of a sidelock design while using the proven strength and simplicity of a boxlock mechanism. The barrels are fitted with a ventilated top rib and are threaded for interchangeable choke tubes.

This example is chambered in 12 gauge with 27 inch barrels. The receiver and sideplates are coin finished with floral scroll engraving and bird game scene vignettes on both sideplates. The barrels and hardware feature a blued finish, paired with a gold finished trigger.
