Remington Model Seven Stainless Synthetic .300 RSAUM
The Remington Model Seven is a bolt action rifle introduced in 1983, built on a shortened version of the Remington Model 700 action. Designed as a lightweight, compact hunting rifle, the Model Seven features a shorter receiver, reduced bolt throw, and a slimmer barrel profile compared to the full size Model 700 platform, resulting in a rifle that typically weighs under seven pounds. The action uses a push feed bolt with dual locking lugs, a plunger ejector, and a two position thumb safety. The rifle feeds from an internal box magazine accessed through a hinged floorplate. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
This example is chambered in .300 Remington Short Action Ultra Magnum, a cartridge well suited for the Model Seven's abbreviated action. Furthermore, it is configured in a stainless, synthetic variation, pairing a stainless steel barreled action with a black synthetic stock for weather resistance in adverse field conditions. No original box or accessories included.
