The Remington Model 870 Super Magnum is a pump action shotgun built on the Model 870 platform, which uses a machined steel receiver with dual action bars and a bottom loading, side ejecting tubular magazine. Introduced in 1999, the Super Magnum variant is chambered to accept 2 3/4 inch, 3 inch, and 3.5 inch 12 gauge shells, expanding the platform's versatility for turkey hunting and waterfowl applications. The action uses a cross bolt safety located at the rear of the trigger guard. The Super Magnum shares the same proven receiver design and internal components as the standard Model 870 while accommodating the longer 3.5 inch shell.

This example is finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage applied to the synthetic stock, forend, receiver, and barrel. It is fitted with a 25 inch barrel and a HiViz green fiber optic front sight. The stock has a 13.75 inch length of pull. The shotgun is accompanied by two choke tubes: an extended Remington 0.006 Over Decoys choke and a flush mount turkey extra full choke. A magazine plug is also included. No original box or accessories included.
