Remington 870 Express 16 Gauge, 28" Barrel, Modified Choke
The Remington Model 870 is a pump action shotgun introduced in 1950, built on a machined steel receiver with dual action bars and a bottom loading, side ejecting tubular magazine. The Model 870 platform has been produced in greater numbers than any other pump action shotgun in history. The Express line, introduced in 1987, features a matte blued finish on metal surfaces and press checkered hardwood furniture. It uses a cross bolt safety located at the rear of the trigger guard.
This example is chambered in 16 gauge with a 2 3/4 inch chamber and fitted with a 28 inch barrel with a front bead sight and an installed modified choke. The stock has a 13.75 inch length of pull. No original box or accessories included.
