Remington Model 7600 .30-06 Springfield, Manufactured 1988, Tasco 3-9x32 Scope

The Remington Model 7600 is a pump action centerfire rifle introduced in 1981 as the successor to the Model 760 Gamemaster. The 7600 uses a dual action bar slide mechanism that drives a multi lug rotating bolt head, locking directly into the barrel extension for a strong and consistent lockup. The receiver is machined from steel and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine and features a crossbolt safety positioned behind the trigger guard. The Model 7600 earned a strong following as a fast handling repeater, with its pump action offering rapid follow up shots without breaking cheek weld.

Based on the barrel date code (AI), this example was manufactured in 1988 and is chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The rifle is fitted with a gloss finished walnut stock and fore-end featuring Remington's pressed fleur-de-lis checkering pattern used during this production period. The barrel measures 23 inches and is equipped with a white bead blade front sight and a semi buckhorn rear sight. A Holden Ironsighter see-through scope mount is installed on the receiver, carrying a Tasco 3-9x32 scope while allowing unobstructed use of the iron sights beneath it. No original box or accessories included.
