Remington Model 7600 .308 Winchester, Manufactured 2005, Gray Laminate Stock

The Remington Model 7600 is a pump action centerfire rifle introduced in 1981 as the successor to the Model 760 Gamemaster. The 7600 uses a dual action bar slide mechanism that drives a multi lug rotating bolt head, locking directly into the barrel extension for consistent lockup. The receiver is machined from steel and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine and features a crossbolt safety positioned behind the trigger guard.

This example is chambered in .308 and was manufactured in February of 2005 based on the LZ barrel date code. The rifle is fitted with a checkered gray laminate forend and raised comb stock, and displays a parkerized finish on all metal surfaces. This configuration is consistent with a Grice Wholesale distributor special order, which often paired a parkerized finish with a gray laminate stock. The barrel measures 22 inches and is equipped with a blade front sight, though no rear sight is present. A set of 1 inch scope rings is installed on the receiver. Accompanied by one 4-round magazine, no original box or additional accessories included.
