The Remington Model 700 is a bolt action rifle manufactured by Remington Arms. The Model 700 action uses a push feed bolt with two front locking lugs and a recessed bolt face. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The safety is a two position thumb safety located on the right rear of the receiver, which locks the trigger when engaged.

This example is a BDL variant chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum with a 24 inch barrel and blued finish on the barreled action. The barrel is fitted with a blade front sight, though no rear sight is installed. A Redfield scope base and 1 inch scope rings are mounted on the receiver. The stock is walnut with a Monte Carlo comb, skip line checkering at the pistol grip and forend, white line spacers, black forend tip, and a Remington rubber buttpad. No original box or accessories included.
