The Remington Model 700 is a bolt action rifle manufactured by Remington Arms Company. The action uses a push feed bolt with two front locking lugs and a recessed bolt face. The receiver is machined from carbon steel and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The safety is a two position thumb safety located on the right rear of the receiver, which locks the trigger when engaged. The rifle feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinded floor plate.

This example is chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 24 inch barrel. The barreled action is finished in polished blue throughout. The stock is black synthetic with checkering at the pistol grip and forend. There are no provisions for iron sights. The receiver is fitted with 1 inch scope rings. No original box or accessories included.
