The Remington Model 11-87 Premier is a gas operated semi-automatic shotgun introduced in 1987. The 11-87 uses Remington's Pressure Compensating gas system, which automatically regulates gas flow based on the pressure generated by the shell being fired. This self adjusting system allows the 11-87 to reliably cycle both 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch loads without manual adjustment or barrel changes. The action uses a breech bolt with a locking block that cams into a recess in the barrel extension to lock the action during firing. The Premier is the upgraded grade of the 11-87 line, distinguished by its high gloss blued finish on the barrel and receiver, decorative scroll engraving on both sides of the receiver, and select walnut stock and forend with fine cut checkering and a high gloss lacquer finish.

This example is chambered in 20 gauge with a 3 inch chamber and is fitted with a 25.5 inch barrel with a ventilated rib and front bead sight. The barrel is threaded for Remington RemChoke tubes. The length of pull measures 14 inches. No original box or accessories included.
