Ruger Redhawk .45 Colt/.45 ACP, 4.2" Barrel, Stainless, MFG 2025

The Ruger Redhawk is a large frame double action/single action revolver, originally introduced in 1979. The Redhawk was designed from the ground up as a magnum revolver, featuring a one piece frame with a broad top strap and integral barrel mounting system that provides exceptional strength and rigidity. The cylinder employs a triple locking mechanism, engaging at the crane, the rear of the cylinder, and the bottom of the frame for a tight and consistent lockup. The action incorporates Ruger's transfer bar safety system, allowing all six chambers to be safely carried loaded. The .45 Colt/.45 ACP variant uses a single cylinder designed to accept both cartridges without moon clips, headspacing .45 ACP rounds on the case mouth while using the rim for .45 Colt cartridges. This dual caliber capability provides flexibility in ammunition selection without the need for a separate conversion cylinder.

This example is Model 5050, manufactured in 2025, featuring a 4.2 inch barrel and a satin stainless steel finish throughout. The revolver is fitted with Pachmayr rubber grips. Sights consist of a ramp front sight and a rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation. No original box or accessories included.
