Ruger Vaquero Bisley .357 Magnum, 5.5" Barrel, Stainless

The Ruger Vaquero is a single action revolver produced by Sturm, Ruger & Co. beginning in 1993, built on Ruger's large frame shared with the Blackhawk and Super Blackhawk. The Vaquero was designed as a fixed sight, traditionally styled single action revolver suited to cowboy action shooting, general recreational use, and field carry. The Vaquero incorporates a transfer bar safety mechanism that allows the revolver to be safely carried with all six chambers loaded. The Bisley variant features a distinctively shaped grip frame and a lower, broader hammer spur derived from the Bisley Target Model Colt of the late 19th century. The Bisley grip frame positions the hand higher relative to the bore axis and provides a more vertical grip angle, altering recoil characteristics and offering a different ergonomic profile compared to the standard Vaquero's plow handle grip. The Bisley hammer spur is wider and swept forward, facilitating deliberate single action cocking. The Vaquero Bisley uses fixed sights consisting of a blade front sight and a fixed notch rear sight machined into the top strap.

This example is chambered in .357 Magnum, also accepting .38 Special, with a 5.5 inch barrel and a polished stainless steel finish throughout. The revolver is fitted with hardwood grips displaying the Ruger medallion inlay. No original box or accessories included.
