The Ruger New Model Vaquero is a single action revolver built on Ruger's mid size frame, incorporating the transfer bar safety mechanism standard to all Ruger "New Model" single actions. Introduced in 2005, the New Model Vaquero features a traditionally proportioned frame derived from the original Colt Single Action Army dimensions, making it compatible with standard single action holsters and cowboy action shooting equipment. The revolver features a six round cylinder, a spring loaded ejector rod, and fixed sights consisting of a blade front sight and a fixed notch rear sight integral to the top strap.

This example is chambered in .357 Magnum, also accepting .38 Special ammunition, with a 4-5/8 inch barrel and a high gloss stainless steel finish throughout. The revolver is fitted with hardwood grips with the Ruger medallion inlay. Original box included.
