Ruger No. 1 .22-250 Remington, Weaver K6 60-B1 Scope, Manufactured 1971

The Ruger No. 1 is a single shot falling block rifle introduced in 1966. The action uses a lever operated breechblock that drops vertically to expose the chamber, with the lever doubling as a triggerguard. The system incorporates a sliding tang safety, an automatic ejector, and a rebounding hammer. The steel receiver is precision machined with integral quarter rib scope mounting bases that accept Ruger's proprietary ring system, allowing scope mounting without drilling or tapping.

This example appears to be a 1971 production rifle based on the serial, placing it among the earlier production years of the platform. It is chambered in .22-250 Remington and fitted with a 24 inch barrel, walnut stock, and walnut forearm. The rifle is further equipped with a Weaver K6 60-B fixed 6x scope mounted in Ruger scope rings on the integral receiver bases. No original box or accessories included.
