Ruger New Model Blackhawk Convertible 10mm Auto/.40 S&W, 4 5/8" Barrel, SKU 00476

The Ruger New Model Blackhawk is a single action revolver built on a large frame platform using steel construction throughout. The original Blackhawk was introduced in 1955 as Ruger's first centerfire revolver. The New Model designation, adopted in 1973, reflects the incorporation of a transfer bar safety mechanism that allows all six chambers to be loaded and carried safely without the need to rest the hammer on an empty chamber.

This example is SKU 00472, a Convertible model chambered for 10mm Automatic with an additional cylinder chambered for .40 S&W. The revolver features a 4 5/8 inch barrel with a brushed stainless finish throughout. It is fitted with hardwood grips with Ruger medallion inlays. Sights consist of a ramp front and an adjustable rear. Accompanied by original box and paperwork.
