Ruger M77 Hawkeye .375 Ruger, 23 Inch Barrel

The Ruger M77 Hawkeye is a bolt action rifle built on Ruger's M77 action, a Mauser type controlled round feed design employing a non rotating claw extractor and a fixed blade ejector. The receiver is machined from steel and features Ruger's integral scope base system, which accepts proprietary Ruger scope rings. The bolt incorporates a three position wing safety on the tang, with a middle position that locks the trigger and a fully rearward position that locks both the trigger and bolt. The LC6 trigger is a light, crisp single stage design. The rifle feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged steel floorplate released by a paddle latch inside the trigger guard.

This example is chambered in .375 Ruger with a 23 inch alloy steel barrel finished in satin blue. The .375 Ruger is a magnum cartridge developed jointly by Ruger and Hornady, designed to deliver .375 H&H Magnum class ballistics from a standard length action. The rifle is fitted with a walnut stock and is equipped with a white bead front sight and a tall V notch rear sight. No original box or accessories included.
