Ruger M77 Mark II, Stainless .222 Remington, Model #17845

The Ruger M77 Mark II is a bolt action rifle utilizing a controlled round feed system with a full length non-rotating claw extractor and fixed blade ejector. The action follows a Mauser type pattern with dual locking lugs, an integral recoil lug machined into the receiver, and a three-position wing safety mounted on the bolt shroud. The rifle uses a hammer forged barrel threaded into the receiver and an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate. Standard configuration includes Ruger’s integral scope mounting cuts machined directly into the receiver.

This example is a 2003 production rifle, model 17845, chambered in .222 Remington. It is finished in stainless steel with a black synthetic stock and fitted with a stainless barrel and action. The rifle includes factory Ruger stainless scope rings and reflects its standard configuration with a 22 inch barrel. No original case or additional accessories included.
