Ruger M77 Mark II .25-06 Remington, 24 Inch Stainless Barrel, Synthetic Stock, MFG 2001
The Ruger M77 Mark II is a bolt action rifle built on a controlled round feed action utilizing a Mauser style claw extractor and fixed blade ejector. The receiver is machined from stainless steel and incorporates Ruger's integral scope mount bases machined directly into the receiver, accepting proprietary Ruger scope rings. The bolt uses two front locking lugs and a 90 degree bolt throw. The safety is a three position wing type mounted on the bolt shroud, providing fire, safe with bolt operation, and safe with bolt locked positions. The rifle feeds from a hinged floorplate internal box magazine with an angled release lever located forward of the trigger guard.
This example is a Model KM77RLP (Ruger model #07951) chambered in .25-06 Remington, manufactured in 2001. It features a 24 inch stainless steel barrel with a threaded muzzle and a satin finished stainless steel action. There are no provisions for iron sights. The stock is black synthetic with checkering at the pistol grip and forend, fitted with a rubber buttpad and front and rear sling swivel studs, though the front stud has fallen off. No original box or accessories included.
