Ruger 77/22 .22 LR, Stainless, Zytel Paddle Stock
The Ruger 77/22 is a bolt action rimfire rifle built on a scaled down version of the Ruger Model 77 centerfire action. Introduced in 1984, the 77/22 uses a Mauser type controlled round feed action with a full length claw extractor and a fixed blade ejector. The receiver is machined from steel and features Ruger's integral scope base system, which accepts proprietary Ruger scope rings. The bolt incorporates a three position wing safety on the bolt shroud, with a middle position that locks the trigger while still allowing the bolt to cycle, and a fully rearward position that locks both the trigger and bolt. The rifle feeds from a detachable rotary magazine, a flush fitting design that sits within the stock profile and presents cartridges consistently to the feed ramp.
This example is chambered in .22 LR and is configured with a stainless steel barreled action paired with a Zytel synthetic stock, a glass fiber reinforced nylon construction with a distinctive skeletonized design, also known as the "paddle" stock. Accompanied by three detachable rotary magazines and factory stainless Ruger scope rings. No original box or accessories included.
