Ruger Mark II 22/45 Competition Target .22 LR, 5.5" Slab Side Bull Barrel

The Ruger Mark II 22/45 is a semi automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR, combining the Mark II's blowback operated upper assembly with a Zytel polymer grip frame. The 22/45 designation refers to this grip frame configuration, which uses a grip angle distinct from the standard Mark II and positions the magazine release on the left side of the frame behind the trigger guard rather than the heel mounted magazine catch found on standard Mark II models. The pistol operates on a simple blowback action with a fixed barrel and a cylindrical bolt housed within the upper receiver. The receiver is constructed of steel and is drilled and tapped for optic mounting. The pistol uses a single action trigger mechanism with a crossbolt safety located on the grip frame.

This example is the Competition Target variant, model 00196, configured with a 5.5 inch slab side bull barrel and blued finish. The pistol is fitted with an adjustable rear sight and a blade front sight. Accompanied by one magazine, no original box or accessories included.
