The Ops-Core FAST SF is a super high cut ballistic helmet built on the FAST (Future Assault Shell Technology) platform, designed to minimize weight while providing ballistic and fragmentation protection. The SF designation indicates a shell construction utilizing ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composite material, resulting in a lighter helmet compared to hybrid or aramid based shells. The super high cut profile raises the ear line to accommodate communications headsets and hearing protection worn directly over the ears. Standard features include the Ops-Core ARC (Accessory Rail Connector) system on both sides for mounting lights, headsets, and other rail compatible devices, as well as a fixed front NVG shroud for night vision mounting. The interior uses a configurable pad suspension system with an H-nape retention harness.
