Mauser Parabellum P08 .30 Luger, 6" Barrel, Original Box & Accessories

The Mauser Parabellum is the post-war production continuation of the iconic Pistole Parabellum, commonly known as the Luger, manufactured by Mauser-Werke in Oberndorf, Germany. Production of the Mauser Parabellum began in the late 1960s and continued into the 1980s, utilizing original DWM tooling that Mauser had acquired. The pistol operates on the distinctive toggle lock short recoil action designed by Georg Luger, in which the knee joint of the toggle assembly breaks upward upon recoil to cycle the action. The Mauser Parabellum was produced as a high quality commercial firearm, manufactured to exacting standards with fit and finish comparable to the finest pre-war examples. The .30 Luger (7.65x21mm Parabellum) chambering is the original cartridge for which the Parabellum pistol was designed, predating the more widely known 9mm Parabellum. The 6 inch barrel variant follows the tradition of the Navy barrel length configuration historically associated with the Pistole Parabellum.

This example is chambered in .30 Luger with a 6 inch barrel. The pistol features a blued steel finish, checkered walnut grips, a blade front sight, and a notch rear sight. Accompanied by one magazine, takedown tool, cleaning brush, and original box.
