The Magnum Research MLR-1722M is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, built on a platform derived from the Ruger 10/22 Magnum action. The MLR-1722M uses a blowback operated action and accepts Ruger 10/22 Magnum compatible rotary magazines. The rifle features a carbon fiber tensioned barrel system in which a steel barrel liner is enclosed within a carbon fiber sleeve, reducing overall weight and improving heat dissipation compared to a conventional steel barrel while maintaining barrel rigidity. The receiver is machined from aluminum and incorporates an integral Picatinny rail along its full length for optics mounting. A cross button safety is located forward of the trigger guard.

This example features a 19 inch carbon fiber tensioned barrel with a threaded muzzle, a black finished aluminum receiver with a black Picatinny rail, and a Hogue OverMolded rubber stock in black. One Ruger rotary magazine is included. No original box or additional accessories included.
