Marlin XL7 .30-06 Springfield, 22 Inch Barrel
The Marlin XL7 is a bolt action centerfire rifle introduced in 2008 as an affordable hunting platform. The action uses a push feed design with a two front locking lug bolt and a 90 degree bolt throw. The XL7 is notable for its Pro-Fire adjustable trigger system, which allows the user to adjust trigger pull weight and incorporates a trigger blade safety that blocks the trigger from moving rearward unless the blade is depressed by the shooter's finger during a deliberate trigger press. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The rifle feeds from a flush fit detachable box magazine. The XL7 was produced during Marlin's tenure under Remington ownership and was manufactured at the North Haven, Connecticut facility.
This example is chambered in .30-06 Springfield and features a 22 inch barrel with a polished blue metal finish throughout. The rifle is fitted with a hardwood stock with checkering on the pistol grip and forend. No original box or accessories included.
