The Marlin Model 1895CB Cowboy is a lever action rifle chambered in .45-70 Government, designed as a period styled variant of Marlin's Model 1895 large bore lever action platform. The 1895CB features a solid top steel receiver with side ejection. The Cowboy variant is distinguished from the standard Model 1895 by its 26 inch octagon barrel with Ballard type rifling, full length tubular magazine, and walnut straight grip stock with walnut forend, giving the rifle a profile reminiscent of late nineteenth century lever action rifles.

This example is fitted with an adjustable semi buckhorn rear sight and a blade front sight with gold bead and equipped with a push button cross bolt safety. The factory trigger has been replaced with a Ranger Point Precision black trigger, for a reduced pull weight and improved the trigger break. No original box or accessories included.
