The Leupold VX-6HD is a premium variable power riflescope built around a 6:1 zoom ratio, offering a versatile 3-18x magnification range through a 44mm objective lens. The VX-6HD line uses Leupold's Professional Grade Optical System with index matched lens coatings, Elite Optical System ion assist lens coatings, and a blackened lens edge treatment designed to reduce internal reflections and maximize light transmission. The 30mm main tube provides increased internal adjustment range over 1 inch tube designs, supporting extended elevation and windage travel. This example features the FireDot Duplex reticle in the second focal plane, combining a traditional duplex crosshair design with a center illuminated dot for fast target acquisition in low light conditions. The scope features a side focus parallax adjustment dial with settings from 40 yards to infinity, and the CDS-ZL2 elevation dial system allows for customized ballistic turret options. The VX-6HD is built to Leupold's waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof standards with nitrogen filling and O-ring seals, and includes Leupold's motion sensor illumination technology for reticle illumination management.

This example is mounted in a Burris PEPR (Proper Eye Position Ready) 30mm one piece mount. The PEPR is a Picatinny rail mount machined from aluminum, featuring a cantilever design that positions the scope forward for proper eye relief on flat top AR style receivers and other Picatinny railed platforms. The mount uses a four cap, multi screw ring system for even clamping pressure on the scope tube and attaches to the rail via hex nut cross bolts. No original box or accessories included.
