The Leupold Vari-X III is a premium variable power riflescope from Leupold's third generation optical platform. The 8.5-25x50mm configuration is the highest magnification offering in the Vari-X III lineup, built on a 30mm main tube to provide increased internal adjustment range over Leupold's standard 1 inch tube designs. The optical system uses Leupold's Multicoat 4 lens coatings across all air to glass surfaces for light transmission and glare reduction. The 50mm objective lens delivers a wide light gathering aperture suited to the high magnification range. Parallax correction is managed through a side focus dial, allowing precise focus at varying distances without shifting head position off the eyepiece. Windage and elevation turrets provide 1/4 MOA click adjustments beneath low profile screw on caps. The scope is machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminum, nitrogen filled, and O-ring sealed for waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof performance. 

This example is finished in matte black and is configured with a second focal plane Duplex reticle. No original box or accessories included.
