The Leupold VX-3 is a variable power riflescope that succeeded the Vari-X III line in Leupold's catalog. Built on a one piece 6061-T6 aluminum main tube, the VX-3 introduced Leupold's Xtended Twilight lens system, which uses an index matched lens formula and proprietary ion-assist coatings to improve light transmission during low light conditions compared to the previous Multicoat 4 system. A blackened lens edge treatment reduces internal scattering and stray light. The scope is filled with a proprietary gas blend and O-ring sealed for waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof performance. Windage and elevation adjustments are made through finger adjustable 1/4 MOA click turrets beneath spring loaded protective caps.

This example is a 1.5-5x20mm variation, finished in matte black and is configured with a second focal plane Duplex reticle on a 1 inch main tube. No original box or accessories included.
