The Leupold FX-II Scout IER (Intermediate Eye Relief) is a fixed power 2.5x rifle scope designed specifically for forward-mounted scout rifle configurations, lever action rifles, and handguns requiring extended eye relief. Built around Leupold's second generation fixed power optical system, the FX-II Scout features a 28mm objective lens, a 1 inch main tube, and Leupold's Multicoat 4 lens coatings for light transmission and clarity. The intermediate eye relief design, offering approximately 9.3 inches of eye relief, allows the scope to be mounted forward of the receiver on a scout rail or in a similar extended position, maintaining peripheral vision and enabling rapid target acquisition. The scope is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed for fog proof and waterproof performance.

This example is finished in matte black and uses finger-adjustable windage and elevation turrets with 1/4 MOA click adjustments, equipped with a Duplex reticle. The scope is mounted in a set of Leupold QRW2 1 inch quick release rings at the low (0.73 inch) height. The QRW2 rings use Weaver style cross-slot bases and feature integrated quick-release levers, allowing repeatable removal and reinstallation without tools. No original box or accessories included.
