This is an L3Harris LA-5C UHP/PEQ FP laser aiming module in Flat Dark Earth, manufactured in December 2007. The LA-5C UHP (Ultra High Power) variant was designed for military use and offers significantly increased infrared and visible laser output compared to standard PEQ-15 units. It incorporates both an IR pointer, IR illuminator, and visible red aiming laser, with onboard adjustment dials and a single high/low power selector.

The housing shows signs of saltiness, with surface wear from field use, but retains full mechanical function. This unit is configured with the full-power output intended for use with night vision equipment in conjunction with infrared illumination.
