The AN/PEQ-15 ATPIAL is a full-power aiming and illumination module designed for target designation in both day and night environments. This tan unit integrates a visible red laser pointer, a 45 mW infrared laser pointer, and an adjustable-focus infrared illuminator. The visible and IR lasers can be operated independently or slaved together, with windage and elevation adjustments provided for zeroing. Output can be toggled between low-power and high-power modes.

The housing is compact and built to military specifications, with sealed electronics and recessed emitters to protect against impact and environmental exposure. Controls include a rotary mode selector, top-mounted activation button, and a remote switch port for alternate input devices. The device attaches to MIL-STD-1913 rail interfaces using a quick-detach lever mount. Power is supplied by a single CR123A battery. Full kit and remote switch included.
